METS 2019 Round-Up
We enjoyed a great trip to the fabulous METS trade show, catching up with the latest product news and new technical developments. Each of our suppliers was there, presenting their latest products and we always take time to meet up and cover all subjects in detail. Here are some headlines…
Frigomar
Frigomar were proudly displaying their new award from British Marine for Product of the Year for their BLDC inverter drive air conditioning. With no start load, no noise and incredibly low energy consumption, the demand for these units is massive. They have to be seen to be believed!
Pssst… We now have a demo unit in our showroom in Romsey if you want to see and (try to) hear this air con in action!
Paguro
Paguro displayed a number of exciting new compact generators, producing more power in less space, so watch this space for more news…
Dessalator
Dessalator were displaying the new Navigator range, featuring fully automatic control; it’s very simple to use and as it is based on their established Pro-Auto technology - ultra reliable!
Cristec
Cristec’s new products include YPOWER DC-DC chargers and MPPT solar regulators, together with the latest YPOWER and HPOWER (now DNV-GL approved) battery chargers with truly unparalleled performance.
Westerbeke
Westerbeke exhibited their iconic slow running diesel generators, available in either analogue or digital equipped with NMEA2000 as standard. Their newest Low-CO petrol generator, the 7.6 MCGA, was on show complete with CE mark, making this the largest petrol marine generator available on the European market!
Summary
The atmosphere was buoyant and our suppliers exhibited a tremendous range of new innovation which is always good to see. We will feature each new item in detail in the forthcoming months.
